HILLEL OF METRO DETROIT AND WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY:
Hillel of Metro Detroit's main office is located at Wayne State University in suite 667 of the Student Center Building. HMD at WSU serves both undergraduate and graduate students. HMD is open 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. Friday.
HMD is a great place to hang out.
At our main office we offer the following:

•Hillel Kosher Café, the only kosher restaurant in the city of Detroit (it's great & inexpensive!), open fall and winter semesters, Monday-Thursday.

Currently at Wayne State University, there are six active student groups supervised through Hillel of Metro Detroit:
JSO - Jewish Student Organization: A social and cultural organization where students can celebrate holidays, learn about Judaism, and explore one’s own religious outlook.
SFI - Students for Israel: A cultural organization where students can learn about Israel and advocate for Israel.
SWAT – Social Wellness Action Team: Social action and community service projects.
CHAI – Cultural and Historical Awareness of Israel: An open forum for discussion on the history, environmental and technological contributions of Israel.
JLSA - Jewish Law Student Association: Provide social, cultural, educational and networking opportunities for Jewish law students.
JMSA – Jewish Medical Student Association: Provide social, cultural, educational and networking opportunities for Jewish medical students.
WSU students participate in community–wide events sponsored by Hillel of Metro Detroit.
